Negligências no louvor

Domingo que vem, a noite, haverá culto em muitas igrejas.

Daqui até lá, os pregadores estarão ocupados em preparar o sermão. Alguém vai se dedicar a preparar a liturgia do culto. Quem sabe alguém cuidará da ornamentação. Se um grupo estiver planejando realizar uma cantina após o culto, deve estar se preparando para isso, mas quanto ao pessoal da música, o que dizer?

Raramente eles ficam sabendo com antecedência qual será o tema do culto ou o tema da pregação. Quase sempre só são informados de que estão na escala e de quantos cânticos devem cantar. A definição dos hinos do hinário é feita por alguém que normalmente não se comunica com eles. Assim, uma pessoa escolhe os hinos do hinário a serem cantados no culto e o grupo da música escolhe os cânticos e nem um, nem outro sabem o que estão selecionando. Ambos também não sabem o que será pregado, mas cantarão antes e depois da mensagem.

Normalmente ninguém se ocupa de orientar o grupo musical sobre quais letras são mais adequadas aos diferentes momentos do culto, nem os ajudam a identificar se há alguma falha ortográfica, gramatical e principalmente teológica na letra.

Ninguém indica qual o melhor ritmo para as músicas daquela noite.

O pessoal da mesa de som, que também integra a equipe de música não sabe de absolutamente nada do que vai acontecer até momentos antes de iniciar o culto. Nunca ouvi falar de um ensaio geral com todos que vão participar do culto. Aliás, não existe uma única pessoa que saiba dizer tudo que vai acontecer no culto. Cada um sabe a sua parte e um não sabe a parte do outro.

Vozes e instrumentos tão diferentes recebem o mesmo tratamento acústico, a mesma equalização e quase sempre, o mesmo volume.

Dá pra imaginar o que pode acontecer em um culto assim? Na realidade, não precisamos imaginar, basta relembrar os últimos cultos. Lembra de algumas coisas desconexas que aconteceram?

Quando o culto termina, temos pessoas descontentes e algumas até furiosas. Não é difícil identificar culpados, pois eles ficaram um bom tempo lá na frente da igreja fazendo algo. Criticamos com razão os erros. Não modificamos esse modelo absurdo e no domingo que se segue apenas aguardamos pra ver se algo muda.

Um dos principais motivos de não corrigirmos tantas falhas está em nossas palavras não encontrarem correspondência nas atitudes. Dizemos que somos zelosos e diligentes com as coisas de Deus, mas o que narrei aqui indica isso? Estamos dispostos a investir tempo e energia para fazer o que pode mudar esse quadro ou vamos ficar na base do deixa que alguém vai resolver isso. Uns deixam para os outros e todos deixam pra lá. Chegamos a orar por solução, mas sem nos incluirmos como aqueles que possam fazer e ser parte da solução.

O pior pra mim não é uma programação ter erros evitáveis, é sim o fato de que muita gente sai machucada desse processo. Normalmente não são cuidadas, são substituídas. Muito mais fácil trocar a pianista do que caminhar com ela num discipulado em amor.

Peço a Deus que nos convença de nossos pecados, nos conduza a confissão e arrependimento eficaz. Ofereceremos assim ao nosso Deus algo que se aproxima mais daquilo que dizemos, Ele é digno de receber. Irmãos queridos serão poupados de muito desgaste absolutamente desnecessário.

Eu preciso mudar pra que isso mude, e você?

    Muito bom texto. Para corrigir essas falhas seria necessário ter um ensaio geral, toda semana, envolvendo desde o pessoal do som, da projeção, dos cânticos e hinos, instrumentistas até o coral, se houver, "ensaiando" o culto como ele deverá ocorrer no domingo.
    E depois de ter feito tudo isso, será que não acontecerão mais falhas?

    Me parece que a questão seria o porquê das falhas. Quando nos preparamos com afinco e diligência, mas mesmo assim erramos, sabemos que o erro não foi por negligência, mas sim por que somos humanos epassíveis de erro. Quando não nos preparamos e tratamos as coisas de forma iresponsável, os erros são consequência natural de nossa atitude para com o compromisso. Creio também que o termo "ensaio geral" foi inapropriado. Eu queria dizer "passagem completa". Falo de antes do culto, todos que vão participar dele estarem juntos, ou seus representantes, como no caso do regente do coral, para epassarem ponto a ponto o que vai acontecer durante o culto. Assim, seguros do que vai transcorrer e do que vão fazer, podem ser minimizados os erros e com espontaneidade podem se expressar. Erros, sempre teremos, mas o porquê deles me parece ser a grande questão. Com frequência vemos na Bíblia Deus nos chamando a identificar não somente nossos erros, mas sim o que os motivou.     E lá vamos nós com o movimento de péndulo. Ou uma extrema organização ou tudo ao sabor do que sinto no momento. Quando a extrema organização dá certo, como já vi, ninguém reclama, mesmo que para isso pessoas tenham sidoferidas para que tudo fosse perfeito. Do outro lado, a espontaneidade do líder é aplaudida, pois ele quase sempre é inquestionável, mas quando alguém menor que ele falha ao ser espontâneo, pode ser disciplinado duramente. Seria incompatível organização e mover do Espírito de Deus? Existiria um meio termo entre organização fria e espontaneidade sem rumo? Se engana se estou preocupado com o culto, estou preocupado com as pessoas que sofrem por causa de extremos quanto a existência de organização ou não. Vejo quase sempre ao tocar nesses assuntos, que todos reagem defensivamente. Pouco importa, pois tal ação visa se preservar. Se eu buscasse me preservar, não escreveria assim. Assistiria a tudo em silêncio, vendo pessoas que para realizar o serviço da casa de Deus tivera...
